Welcome to the Nursery Diaries!
Ever wondered how an ocean-loving UX Designer would craft a nursery? Dive in to find out!
Join us as we embark on the first part of our “Surf Shack” inspired nursery for our little baby boy, due in October. We’re blending utility and tranquility to create a space that’s not only functional but also a serene haven for those precious moments together.
Designing a joyful room is my way of ensuring our little one feels at peace. Plus, with an islander dad and my mermaid genes, our baby is destined for some serious ocean vibes!
We’re aiming for a colorful, bright, and tranquil environment to help ease our anxiety as first-time parents.
Do you have any recommendations or favorite newborn products? Have you seen any cute ocean-themed decor that might fit our theme? Drop your suggestions in the comments!
Products:
Ruggable Rug: These rugs can be pricey, so I recommend waiting for a holiday sale. I snagged mine at 40% off on Memorial Day Weekend, making it much more affordable and worth it (especially since it’s washable, perfect for a kid’s room).
